Shear disc assemblies
Both the X and T series castors can be manufactured with rubber shear discs between the axle and leg forks. The effect is to dampen shock loads between the wheels and the chassis.

A four-station plunger lock converting swivel castors into fixed for straight line travel.
Overall height of the XST would increase by 37mm
